Just wanted to give you a little tease as to something that came up yesterday.  A new recycling project!  Only going to show you the item that is going to get upcycled and re-styled into something hopefully a little fun.

This is a wonderful vinyl mesh promo that was destined for a recycle bin at work.  Yep, you got it.  I nabbed it and can't wait to redesign this into.....????   You guess!  This thing is huge, that's why I photographed it on the floor.  You can get sort of an idea of how much material there is here to work with.  SO FUN!  So keep your eye out for the finished project hopefully this week.

Keep creating, keep busy!

Remember a while back, I received a box of goodies in the mail from my blogging friend, Marcy.  Just wanted to give you the finale before I send the pieces and parts back to her this week.....

The original package from Marcy

Four items complete....

3X5 card holder

Amy Butler fabric journal cover

Inside journal cover to fit Marcy's Bible journal inside.
Picture
Quilt block pinwheel and sunflower portfolio cover.

Open portfolio with mini decoupaged notebook.
It's not perfect by a long shot, not only because I'm not a good quilt block put-together-er, but I noticed the business card holder melted a little when I was doing the final pressing.  I COULD HAVE SCREAMED!!!  There's no turning back on that one, and it's the first time that's happened.   ARGHHHH

There is a lot of fleece left, but am not real sure what I could do with it.  I'm sure Marcy adn her daughter can figure out a better purpose for it than I'm coming up with.

It will get mailed this week, Marcy!  Hope it's all okay and happy blogging!!

The new t-shirts are in, the new t-shirts are in!  We couldn't be more excited about how these came out and the colors are perfect.  Our local Adwood Company did fantastic with the logo and photo, don't you think?

So now what to do with them?  Promos, give-aways, sell them, a buy-two-store-items-get-free-tshirt deal?

Ideas, folks, ideas!!

Yeah, and don't give me grief over my overloaded and messy dining room table, ok?  :)

For some reason, I enjoy following The Crochet Dude, just because it's so different that a guy enjoys working with yarn.  But his designs and creations are over the top COOL, even though I've never tried working one of his designs.  But I noticed that one of his venues was Lulu.com for self-publishing his stuff.

So the "Wishbone" has made its way over there now for purchase.  Yeah, I'm just trying to keep up with "The Dude".

Only a couple things to report on today, but they are FUN ones!  Got the shipment of new fabrics from Fabric.com while I was home for lunch today.  Check out the Michael Miller ones on the left!!!  Aren't they the best yet?  A.D.O.R.E. them!  But as I brought the box in, Bill noses in and asks if it's our leather shipment yet.  Do you think he's excited about the leather idea or WHAT?  :)

Those three flowers you see kind of in the middle are actually made from large sequins and will look fantastic on purses or totes.  So many ideas.....  But anyway, back to my story.  I have a co-worker who enjoys many different crafts and it is always so much fun to talk about different ideas, projects and, well, let's just say she is one lady with a HUGE heart.  Another gal at work asked her to make a specialized bracelet and this is what she brought in today!  Is this not the cutest baseball mom bracelet ever?  Team colors and charms to make it personal.  Still trying to convince her to join me in a fall craft fair - she SHOULD!  These are perfect.......

This designers name is Madeline - and she needs some encouragement to keep up the great work!  Now she needs a name to put to her things, right?

TygerLily t-shirts are getting ordered today!  I am super excited to share some with my family and see where the rest end up.  But you see my little white tiger and orange lily picture up at the top?  that's what's going to show up on these t-shirts - in full blown COLOR!  So keep your eyes peeled for the unveiling.  And if you want to purchase one, you just let me know and we'll work something out.

Just another venue as to how to get my little company name out there in the world.

Happy creating, everyone!

As you know, I found a VERY expensive Pendleton knitted golf vest last weekend at a price I could not refuse.  No, I didn't purchase it to wear it - so get that thought out of your brain immediately.  :)
But I wanted to show you a little time line in my creative process today in transforming a new knitted vest into a one of a kind tote bag - a TygerLily original with no pattern, just rulers and a little experience under my belt.

Pad the thing down.....

Do I throw the rest of the vest away? Is that being wasteful? tee hee

A little TygerLily wooden dangle for fun....

Finished but for the hand stitching around the inside top.
Hopefully this looks like a visual tutorial with limited sub-titles.  It's almost finished - handwork is all that is left.  But this old dog is tired.  This one wore me to a frazzle.  But I accomplished something, and it's my own design.

Until we meet again...............

If you've followed me over here to the new site - WELCOME!!!  I think we'll enjoy ourselves over here as it's looking like more of a complete area for me to expound on my life as I know it.

Yes, it will begin the REAL March Madness in my creative life in just a few short hours.  This is where I will try and post something every day in March about what's happening in the sewing room, on the knitting couch, or on the crochet chair or even atop the paper stool.  Speaking of the paper stool, I decoupaged black and white family pictures (photocopied) onto the top of my two crafting stools - so yes, in essence I keep family close.  :)

Today I finished the baby fleece blanket with crocheted edging.  Had that done before I went to work.  So technically I cannot add that to my March Hare Madness, but it's a good start anyways.
Picture
That's How I Roll (fleece blanket)
This picture shows that it IS complete, and with only a few yards left of the baby yarn!!  How did THAT work out anyway?  I was sweating it near the end, but something just kept me rolling and it worked.  Perfectly.  And yes, that's my Blackberry back there lit up.  I just wanted to show that I had a message waiting there for me since I'm so popular and stuff.  HA!  But that little guy goes with me everywhere, and yes, I mean everywhere.

As I sit here, indulging myself working on this new Weebly deal, my dear husband and resident chef brings my dinner into the computer room knowing I'm on a mission.  He serves up the best looking poor boy fish sandwich and is it every tasty.  He's so good to me.  And the poor man is also sitting watching "Antique's Roadshow" without me tonight.  And I adore that show, but really, I have to be ready for the Madness that is to ensue shortly.

So let's get our CRAZY on and make March just a ton of fun!

I'll be seeing you all tomorrow!
